The first annual C.L.I.C. PROJECT Conference

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
For all ANG students
(at all levels:  programme court, certificat, concentration, majeure)

This year’s conference aims to explore issues relating to CULTURE, LANGUAGE, IDENTITY AND COMMUNITY. Topics which may contribute to this discussion, among others, are suggested here:
·       Your story (as an immigrant, a student/parent, etc.)
·       Your ambitions and/or your struggles
·       Learning a 2nd/3rd/4th language
·       Culture shock
·       LGBTQAI+ issues
·       My changing identity
·       Feminist issues
·       Book club – a book that changed my life
·       Learning English in a French speaking environment
·       Diversity, cultural values, cultural difference, etc.
·       And much more, it’s up to you!

Format of presentations
·       Speech, lecture, motivational discourse, poster session, poetry, group presentation, etc.
·       Duration: 15 minutes (followed by 5 minutes of discussion)
·       Presentations must be in English (We will help you! )
Submission instructions
·       250 words (max.) describing what you would like to speak about.

·       Proposal in English (Don’t worry about your grammar; the idea is important.)
·       One anonymous version (no names)
·       One version in Word format indicating your full name and contact information

Important Dates:
·       Submission deadline: March 4th, 2019
·       Notification of acceptance: March 11th, 2019
